Technologies
Air Purification Systems, including
- HealthyAir source dental aerosol treatment room evacuators.
- Clean Air Zone BioOx unit.

Appropriate PPE Provided for All Staff, Including
- Respiratory protection including N95 and custom fitted ASTM Level 3 masks.
- Gloves, surgical gowns, caps, and face shield standard for all dental aerosol procedures.
- Staff have been trained in the proper use, including donning and doffing protocols, for all PPE.
Clinical Safety Protocols, including
- Frequent review and adherence to NJ State, CDC, and OSHA protocols and recommendations.
- Universal precautions and sterilized instruments.
- Pre- and post-clinical mouth rinse with 1.5% hydrogen peroxide.
- High Volume Evacuation (HVE) tools.
Disinfection Safety Protocols, including
- Extended schedule allows for thorough disinfection before and after every procedure.
- Strict adherence to instrument sanitation, disinfection of treatment rooms, and surface decontamination.
On-Site Advanced Dental Equipment
- State-of-the-art equipment facilitates same-day dentistry and reduces the need for additional office visits and specialist appointments
- CEREC CAD/CAM technology and advanced 3D optical scanners are used to have crowns and dental restorations completed in one visit without the need for temporary crowns or messy impressions
- Extra Oral/Ultra low dose 2D Panoramic X-rays that show the full mouth and surrounding structures.
- Ultra low dose 3D cone beam CT scanner provides Catscan X-rays that are a prerequisite for successful implant restorations
- CT scans are also useful in the diagnosis of anatomy and pathologies that are not visible on 2D X-rays.
- 3D printer used for printing dental models, implant placement guides, and custom PPE.
Procedures and Policies
Staff Protocols including
- Our staff is fully vaccinated and continues to self monitor for symptoms.
- Staff are required to stay at home if any symptoms are present.
- Staff utilize appropriate PPE and utilize multilevel clinical and disinfection safety protocols that exceed standard dental universal precautions.
Patient Health Screening
- Patients are required to complete a COVID-19 Health Screening and symptom check prior to their appointments.
- Staff greet patients at the front door (Gordonhurst Ave. entrance) and escort the patient directly to a treatment room.
Limited Contact and No-Touch Policies
- Patients complete health forms prior to their appointment (click here to learn how).
- Patients are checked-in from their car and escorted directly to the treatment room.
- Patient companions are excluded from the office except under exceptional circumstances .
- Check-out is completed virtually with a E-statement sent via email.
- Payments can be made online directly from a link on your E-statement or online through your family portal.

Teledentistry Virtual Visits:
- Teledentistry visits are Book Online and conducted remotely with Dr. Ferguson or Dr. Cocchia.
- Available for consultations, new patient interviews and evaluation of dental concerns. These visits are complimentary and are a good option for patients who would like to discuss their concerns before coming to the office.
