Booking a Hygiene Appointment

Existing and new patients are now able to book their exam and cleaning appointments online.

Please note the following when booking online:

  1. New Patients: Once you have booked your appointment, we will email a welcome letter requesting additional information and letting you know what to expect at your first visit. Please make sure your email address is correct when completing your online booking.
  2. Existing Patients: The online process allows you to choose your preferred hygienist, book multiple family appointments at the same time, and see availability in real-time. A few directions to make the process easier:
    • Enter the correct information before searching for appointments. To prevent errors in syncing your patient file to the new appointment, your information (name, date of birth, etc.) must match our existing records.
    • Please make sure that you do not already have an existing appointment scheduled. If you are not sure if you have an appointment, please call or text the office at (973) 744-3181 and we will assist you.
    • Know your insurance requirements. Some plans will not cover appointments scheduled sooner than six months after your last visit. Our "Time for Your Checkup" email reminder typically arrives 1 month before you are due for your next appointment, giving you time to schedule. If insurance is an issue, schedule at least 1 month after you receive that email.
    • After your appointment is booked, you will receive a confirmation email. We review every appointment booked online and will reach out if we notice any problems or need to adjust the appointment time.
